Rural Development Services, in partnership with Rural Alive and Well Inc and WHK Tasmania, is providing a leadership development program to young people from regional and rural communities in Tasmania. This program, to be delivered over two live-in weekends, will provide participants with tools and practice to understand the meaning of leadership, their own leadership style and how different people respond to different drivers in their own leadership journeys.  Whether leadership means introducing a new enterprise to a family farm or working towards heading up peak industry groups, participants will be provided with a fun and stimulating introduction to their own leadership potential. This project is supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry under its Australia’s Farming Future program.
