Current role

David is a co-founder and senior partner in Rural Development Services (RDS).

David is responsible for the following areas within RDS:

• Operations manager
• Research agronomy project leadership
• National project delivery and facilitation

David, through working with industry and farmers, became acutely aware that delivering change is a complex endeavour and is heavily reliant on addressing stakeholder’s needs. Key prerequisites for effective delivery of change are the capacity to listen to and act on stakeholder issues to establish trust. David recognises that it is through enhancing human and organizational capacity that change is achieved.

Experience

David has 20 years experience working in the vegetable, extractive crop, and extensive agricultural sectors. David works as an agronomist, research agronomist, trainer, facilitator, and provides services within RDS as the operations manager.
